New Orleans Center For Creative Arts (NOCCA)
Is a world-class pre-professional arts training center which provides intensive instruction in dance, media arts, music (classical, jazz, vocal), theatre arts (drama, musical theatre, theatre design) , visual arts, and creative writing, to students from public, private, and parochial schools across Louisiana. NOCCA showcases their student's work in planned events throught the year.

Historic District Landmarks Commission
"The Historic District Landmarks Commission (HDLC) is the City's regulatory agency for local historic districts outside of the Vieux Carré. Established in 1976, this agency provides the staff and office space for the two Commissions." Rules which affect the external property of any building in the Marigny are available from this agency. Permits can be applied for in person, and violations can be reported to them directly.
Preservation Resource Center
Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans promotes preservation of New Orleans' architecture and neighborhoods. They host many homebuyer activities including homebuyer training classes and "how to buy an old house?" The PRC website maintains one of the most inclusive lists for links relevant to the historic home owner and is well worth the visit. Just click on "links".
Tulane University's Southeasten Architectural Archive (SEAA)
Tulane University's Southeasten Architectural Archive (SEAA) is one of the larger collerctions of architectural drawings and building records in the south. Since its founding in 1980, SEAA has built a collection for the study of architectural and urban history focusing on New Orleans and Louisiana."
Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation
"Established by Congress in 1966, the National Register of Historic Places is the nation's official list of significant historic properties. Each state has a historic preservation office which is responsible for nominating buildings, sites, districts, etc. to the Register. In Louisiana this program is administered by the Division of Historic Preservation, which is part of the Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism."

The New Orleans Notarial Archives (NONA)
The New Orleans Notarial Archives (NONA) holds some forty million pages of signed acts compiled by the notaries of New Orleans, Louisiana over three centuries. They reside in the only archive dedicated to notarial records in the United States. In New Orleans, nearly every property transaction that has occurred since the founding of the city was recorded by, or found its way to, a notary's office.

Louisiana State Museum
New Orleans most prominent heritage attraction is the Louisiana State Museum, a complex of national landmarks housing thousands of artifacts and works of art reflecting Louisiana's legacy of historic events and cultural diversity. The Museum operates five properties in the famous French Quarter: the Cabildo, Presbytere, 1850 House, Old U.S. Mint and Madame John's Legacy. Also the Wedell-Williams Memorial Aviation Museum in Patterson,the Old Courthouse in Natchitoches, and the E.D. White Historic Site in Thibodaux.
