Joining the FMIA is about being informed, having a voice, and helping protect and improve Faubourg Marigny.

Membership includes a bi-weekly email newsletter, monthly meetings on neighborhood improvements and developments, and a forum for questions and answers.

- Have A Voice in Neighborhood Decisions - Members get voting rights in shaping the future of the neighborhood along with FMIA board elections and other key FMIA decisions.

- Support Quality of Life and Neighborhood Protection - FMIA’s purpose and mission focus on adherence to ordinances and laws, and safeguarding the neighborhood’s physical, cultural, architectural, and historic character, while improving quality of life.

- Contribute: Volunteer or Donate or Sponsor (if you can) - Be a part of the solution by volunteering, sponsoring or donating to a project or event to make the neighborhood better. It can be as simple as a cash or an in-kind donation or as easy as monitoring city agendas, being part of a beautification project, support for responsible land use and event help as well as board or committee roles.

- Member Perks - Members get discounts for neighborhood events and merchandise, and notes that membership as well as donations of dollars or time is tax deductible.
