Incorporated in 1972, the Faubourg Marigny Improvement Association stands to:

Protect, maintain, and support Faubourg Marigny
Promote the physical, cultural, architectural, and historical values of the neighborhood
And secure adequate enforcement of all laws pertaining to it.
